School of Complementary Therapies

Body and Sole is a well established school in complemetary therapy training. The school offers students the best possible training to obtain a Diploma in their chosen subject. Body and Sole caters for all students whether they are just beginning in therapies or whether they are already a qualified professional. All courses are acceditted by The Federation of Holistic Therapies (FHT) and are taught by highly trained and experienced tutors. Situated on the edge of Lisburns city centre Body and Sole is easily accessible and is near both the M1 and M2 motorways .

The principal, Ruth Johnston recently retired after 39 years in the nursing profession and has spent the past 25 years complementing her profession with Reflexology, Aromatheray, Indian Head Massage, Reikki 11, Baby Massage, Hot Stone Massage, Cert. in Counselling skills and still continues to complete new courses regularly. Ruth has volunteered her skills for Marie Curie Cancer Care where she used her therapies to help terminally ill paitents.

The school provides all equipment required to complete courses such as couches, stools, chairs and oils etc
